This DHT11 sensor measures both temperature and humidity and sends the readings to your board through a single digital pin. Connect it to an Arduino, upload a short sketch with the DHT library, and you can see live room temperature and humidity on your Serial Monitor.
It is a popular choice for beginners because it is cheap and very simple to wire. You can build a mini weather station, a room temperature display, a plant monitoring system or a smart fan that switches on when it gets warm.
